One of our most popular annual events, the Haunted 
History Tour is a one-hour guided walk of downtown Ithaca and its surrounding neighborhoods, highlighting sites of interest and the ‘ghosts’ who inhabited them.
Join us as the people and places of Tompkins County’s rich history are brought to life by a cast of actors, storytellers and other performers who appear along the way to tell the stories of murder, haunting, and some of the more unusual occurrences that have occurred in local history.
When: Tours run at 7pm, 7:30pm and 8pm unless otherwise specified
Where: Tours depart from the Ticket Center/Visit Center on the Ithaca Commons, just to the left of the main entrance to Center Ithaca.
Notes:
- Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes
- Feel free to bring a flashlight.
- Rain ponchos will be available if it rains, but the tour will not run if there is lightning.
- Contact The Ticket Center to reserve a spot in advance.
- Group tours or student tours can be scheduled during any tour night for an additional fee

Tours fill up quick – therefor we strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance to ensure a spot on a tour.
Walk ups
Any Walk Ups must arrive at 6:50pm on any given tour night to pay for a tour that night. Some nights only 1 or 2 tours go, or tours sell out, therefore if you show up for an 8pm tour we might be gone or you may not be able to join a tour if it is full. Please arrive at 6:50pm and we’ll let you know what is available for the evening.
